Novelist Isaac Asimov is a renowned science fiction writer who wrote over 500 books and stories. He is best known for his Foundation series, which consists of seven books, and his Robot series, which consists of eight books. Asimov was also a professor of biochemistry at Boston University and a prolific essayist. He was awarded the Hugo Award for Best All-Time Series in 1966 and the Grand Master Award from the Science Fiction Writers of America in 1986.
