Ann Brashares is an American novelist best known for her young adult fiction series, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. She has written several other novels, including 3 Willows, The Last Summer (of You and Me), and My Name is Memory. Brashares was born in Alexandria, Virginia and graduated from Barnard College in 1992. She currently lives in Brooklyn, New York with her husband and three children.
