The Cali Cartel was a notorious drug cartel that operated in Colombia during the 1990s and early 2000s. It was one of the most powerful and violent criminal organizations in the world, and was responsible for the majority of the cocaine smuggled into the United States. The cartel was led by the Rodriguez Orejuela brothers, Gilberto and Miguel, who were eventually arrested and extradited to the United States in 2005.
