Gwynedd is a county in Northwest Wales. It is the largest county in Wales, covering an area of 2, 548 square kilometres. It is bordered by the counties of Conwy, Denbighshire, Powys and Anglesey. The county town is Bangor, and other major towns include Caernarfon, Pwllheli and Dolgellau. Gwynedd is home to Snowdonia National Park, which is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Wales.
