Northern Native is a term used to refer to the indigenous peoples of the Arctic region. The three main groups are the ALEUT, INUIT, and LAPP. The ALEUT are an indigenous people of the Aleutian Islands in Alaska. The INUIT are a group of culturally similar indigenous peoples inhabiting the Arctic regions of Greenland, Canada, and Alaska. The LAPP are an indigenous people of northern Scandinavia and the Kola Peninsula of Russia.
