Northern Indians are a collective term used to refer to the indigenous peoples of North America. This includes the Eries, a tribe of Native Americans who lived in the Great Lakes region, the Crees, an Algonquian-speaking people who live in Canada and parts of the United States, and the Aleuts, a group of Eskimo-Aleut people who inhabit the Aleutian Islands and the western part of the Alaska Peninsula.
