The Nile Goddess is the ancient Egyptian goddess Isis, who was worshiped as the ideal mother and wife as well as the patroness of nature and magic. She was also known as the goddess of healing and protector of the dead. Isis was believed to be the daughter of the earth god Geb and the sky goddess Nut, and was the sister and wife of the god Osiris. She was also the mother of Horus, the falcon-headed god.
