Rene Russo is an American actress, producer and former model who is best known for her role as Nightcrawler in the 2014 film of the same name. She has also starred in films such as The Thomas Crown Affair, Get Shorty, Tin Cup, Ransom, Lethal Weapon 3 and 4, and Thor. Russo began her career as a fashion model in the 1970s and 1980s, appearing on magazine covers such as Vogue and Cosmopolitan. She transitioned to acting in the 1990s, and has since appeared in numerous films and television series.
