Night School Awards, or GEDS, are awards given to students who have completed their General Education Development (GED) program. The GED program is designed to provide adults who did not complete high school with the opportunity to earn a high school equivalency diploma. GEDs are awarded to those who successfully complete the program and demonstrate mastery of the subject material. The Night School Awards are given to those who have completed the GED program while attending night school classes. These awards recognize the hard work and dedication of these students in completing their education.
