The New Orleans Saints, commonly referred to as the 'Saints' for short, is a professional American football team based in New Orleans, Louisiana. The team was founded in 1967 and is currently a member of the National Football League's (NFL) NFC South division. The Saints have won one Super Bowl championship, one conference championship, and five division championships. The team plays its home games at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.
