Phil Jackson is an American professional basketball coach who is best known for his successful tenure as head coach of the NBA's Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers. He is widely considered one of the greatest coaches in NBA history, having led both teams to a combined 11 championships. Jackson is also the only coach in NBA history to win three consecutive championships with two different teams. He was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2007.
