Naval Academy Grads are graduates of the United States Naval Academy, a four-year coeducational federal service academy located in Annapolis, Maryland. Ensigns are the lowest rank of commissioned officer in the United States Navy, Coast Guard, Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Commissioned Officer Corps. They are typically appointed by the President of the United States upon graduation from the academy.
