Tonto National Forest in Arizona is a 1.6 million acre forest located in the Mogollon Rim region of central Arizona. It is the fifth largest national forest in the United States and is home to a variety of wildlife, including elk, deer, and bald eagles. The forest is also known for its diverse landscape, which includes mountains, canyons, and rivers. Tonto is an Apache word meaning 'place of much water'.
