The term NASA Spacewalk, for short, is abbreviated as EVA, which stands for Extra-Vehicular Activity. EVA is a term used to describe any activity done by an astronaut outside of a spacecraft or other space vehicle while in space. This activity can include tasks such as repairs, experiments, and other activities that require the astronaut to be outside of the spacecraft. EVA is an important part of space exploration and has been used by astronauts since the first spacewalk in 1965.
