Nanna is an ancient Sumerian goddess who was the wife of the moon god Sin and the mother of the sun god Utu. She was also known as the goddess of fertility and was often depicted with a crown of horns. Her name is derived from the Sumerian word for 'LADY' or 'QUEEN'.
