Len Deighton is a British mystery novelist, best known for his spy novels. He has written over 30 books, including the popular 'Hook, Line and Sinker' and 'BOMBER'. He is also an acclaimed cookbook author and has written several non-fiction works. Deighton was born in London in 1929 and served in the Royal Air Force during World War II. He studied at the Royal College of Art and worked as a graphic artist before becoming a full-time writer in 1959. His work has been translated into many languages and he has won numerous awards for his writing.
