Muslim Sovereigns are rulers of Muslim countries, typically with absolute POWER. The most common type of Muslim Sovereign is the Sultan, a title derived from the Arabic word for 'POWER' or 'AUTHORITY'. Sultans are typically hereditary rulers, and have historically been the heads of state in many Muslim countries. They are often seen as religious figures, and have traditionally held a great deal of influence over their people.
