A Muslim ascetic is a person who practices extreme self-discipline and austerity in their religious devotion. The term is used to describe three different types of ascetics: FAKIR (5 letters), DERVISH (7 letters), and Faqir (5 letters). A Whirling DERVISH (15 letters) is a type of DERVISH who performs a ritual dance as part of their spiritual practice. All of these ascetics are devoted to the Islamic faith and strive to live a life of simplicity and piety.
