Lena Horne was an American singer, dancer, actress, and civil rights activist. She was one of the first African-American women to become a widely recognized entertainer and was known for her signature song 'Stormy Weather'. She was also a prominent figure in the Civil Rights Movement and was active in the NAACP. Her career spanned over six decades and she was awarded numerous awards and honors for her work.
