Stan Musial was a legendary baseball player who played for the St. Louis Cardinals from 1941 to 1963. He was known for his incredible hitting ability and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1969. Musial was nicknamed 'The Man' and is widely considered one of the greatest players in the history of the game. He was a three-time National League MVP and a 24-time All-Star. Musial's career batting average was .331, and he hit 475 home runs. He was also an excellent fielder and baserunner. Musial was a beloved figure in St. Louis and was honored with a statue outside Busch Stadium.
