Andy Murray is a professional tennis player from Scotland who has won three Grand Slam singles titles, two Olympic gold medals, and the Davis Cup. He is currently ranked No. 1 in the world by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). Murray is the first British man to win a Grand Slam singles title since Fred Perry in 1936. He is also the first British player to reach the final of all four Grand Slam tournaments. Murray has been ranked as high as No. 2 in the world and has reached the semifinals or better of all four Grand Slam tournaments.
