Jose Orozco was a Mexican muralist who was active in the early 20th century. He is best known for his large-scale frescoes, which often depicted Mexican history and culture. His works are considered to be some of the most important examples of Mexican muralism. Orozco's murals can be found in many public spaces throughout Mexico, including the National Palace in Mexico City. He also created several murals in the United States, including those at Dartmouth College and Pomona College.
