David LYNCH is an American filmmaker, painter, musician, actor, and photographer. He is best known for his surrealist films, such as 'Mulholland Drive'. LYNCH has received three Academy Award nominations for Best Director and a Golden Globe Award for Best Director for 'Mulholland Drive'. He has also won the Cesar Award for Best Foreign Film for 'The Elephant Man' and the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival for 'Wild at Heart'. LYNCH is also known for his television series 'Twin Peaks', which has been hailed as one of the greatest television series of all time.
