Much of Chad is located in the SAHARA Desert, a vast desert region that stretches across North Africa. The SAHARA covers an area of over 3 million square miles and is the largest hot desert in the world. It is home to a variety of wildlife, including camels, gazelles, and oryx. Chad is located in the northern part of the SAHARA and is bordered by Libya, Niger, Nigeria, Cameroon, Sudan, and the Central African Republic. The country is largely arid, with much of its land covered by the SAHARA. The climate is hot and dry, with temperatures reaching up to 120 degrees Fahrenheit in some areas.
