Mrs. Marcos is the widow of the former President of the Philippines, Ferdinand Marcos. She is also known as Imelda Marcos, a name derived from her full name Imelda Remedios Visitacion Romualdez. She was born in Manila, Philippines and is best known for her extravagant lifestyle and her collection of over 3, 000 pairs of shoes. She served as First Lady of the Philippines from 1965 to 1986 and has been a member of the Philippine House of Representatives since 2010.
