Mrs. Madison, also known as Dolley (6 letters), was the wife of the fourth President of the United States, James Madison. She was a popular hostess and is remembered for her courage during the War of 1812 when she saved a portrait of George Washington from the White House before it was burned by the British. She was also an advocate for women's rights and was the first to be referred to as the First Lady of the United States.
