Mrs. Edna Krabappel, commonly referred to as Mrs. K, is a fictional character from the long-running animated television series The Simpsons. She is voiced by actress Marcia Wallace and first appeared in the episode 'Bart the Genius' in 1990. Mrs. Krabappel is a 4th grade teacher at Springfield Elementary School, where she teaches Bart Simpson's class.
