A mountain climber is a person who climbs mountains and other steep terrain. They use a variety of tools and techniques to ascend, such as a TRAM, which is a cable car used to transport people up and down the mountain; an IBEX, which is a type of wild goat that lives in mountainous regions; a LIFT, which is a device used to raise and lower people and objects; a t-bar, which is a type of ski LIFT; and a scaler, which is a tool used to climb rocks and other surfaces. Mountain climbers must be highly skilled and physically fit to safely and successfully complete their climbs.
