The ANDES is a mountain chain of South America, stretching along the western coast of the continent from Venezuela to Tierra del Fuego. It is the longest continental mountain range in the world, with an estimated length of 7, 000 km. The ANDES are home to some of the highest peaks in the world, including Aconcagua, which is the highest peak outside of Asia. The ANDES are also home to many unique species of plants and animals, as well as a variety of cultures and languages.
