Mount Hood State is a state located in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. It is the 9th most populous state in the country and is bordered by Washington to the north, Idaho to the east, and California and Nevada to the south. The state is home to Mount Hood, the highest peak in Oregon and the fourth-highest peak in the Cascade Range. Mount Hood State Park is a popular destination for outdoor recreation, including camping, hiking, fishing, and skiing. The park is also home to several historic sites, including the Timberline Lodge, which was built in 1937 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
