Mosquito-borne fever is a type of infectious disease caused by viruses or parasites that are transmitted through the bite of an infected mosquito. Two of the most common mosquito-borne fevers are dengue (6 letters) and MALARIA (7 letters). Dengue is a viral infection that is spread by the Aedes mosquito, while MALARIA is a parasitic infection caused by the Plasmodium parasite, which is transmitted by the Anopheles mosquito. Both diseases can cause fever, headaches, muscle and joint pain, and in severe cases, organ failure.
