MORNING WETNESS is a term used to describe the DEW that forms on grass and other surfaces during the early morning hours. DEW is a form of condensation that occurs when the air temperature drops below the DEW point, resulting in tiny droplets of water forming on the surface of objects. DEW is most commonly seen in the early morning hours, when the air is still cool and the sun has not yet had a chance to warm the ground.
