The Moon-landing Vehicle was the Lunar Excursion Module (LEM), a spacecraft designed by the Grumman Aircraft Engineering Corporation for the Apollo program. It was used to transport two astronauts from the Apollo spacecraft to the surface of the Moon and back. The LEM was the first manned spacecraft to land on the Moon and was an essential part of the Apollo 11 mission, which marked the first human landing on the Moon.
