The Montreal EXPOS were a professional baseball team based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. They played in the National League from 1969 to 2004, making them the first Major League Baseball franchise located outside the United States. The EXPOS were the first Major League team in Canada and the only Canadian team in the National League until the Toronto Blue Jays joined the American League in 1977. The EXPOS were known for their exciting style of play and had some of the most talented players in the game, including Hall of Famers Gary Carter and Andre Dawson.
