The Montreal Team is the professional baseball team based in Montreal, Canada. The team is commonly referred to as the EXPOS, which is an acronym for EXPOS de Montreal. The EXPOS were founded in 1969 and were the first Major League Baseball franchise located outside of the United States. They played in the National League East division until 2004 when they relocated to Washington, D.C. and became the Washington Nationals.
