Monica Seles is a former professional tennis player from Yugoslavia. She was one of the most successful players in the 1990s, winning nine Grand Slam singles titles and becoming the youngest ever French Open champion at the age of 16. Seles was also the first female athlete to earn more than $5 million in prize money. She is best known for her powerful two-handed groundstrokes and her aggressive playing style.
