Mongolian tents, also known as yurts (4 letters) and gers (3 letters), are traditional dwellings used by nomadic people in Central Asia. They are made of a wooden frame covered with felt or animal skins and are designed to be easily dismantled and transported. The walls are usually latticed and the roof is conical, making them highly efficient at keeping out the cold. They are still used today by many nomadic people in Mongolia and other parts of Central Asia.
