Tyra Banks is an American television personality, businesswoman, producer, author, and former model. She first rose to prominence as a model in the 1990s, becoming the first African-American woman to be featured on the covers of GQ and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She has since gone on to become a successful entrepreneur, launching her own cosmetics line and clothing line. She is also the creator and host of the reality television show America's Next Top Model.
