Sir Mix-A-Lot is an American rapper, songwriter, and producer from Seattle, Washington. He is best known for his hit single 'Baby Got Back' which was released in 1992 and reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. He has released several albums throughout his career, including Swass (1988), Mack Daddy (1992), and Chief Boot Knocka (1994). He is also known for his philanthropic work, having founded the SIR Mix-A-Lot Foundation which provides educational opportunities to underprivileged youth.
