The Missouri Mountains are a range of mountains located in the Midwestern United States. The two most prominent mountain ranges in this region are the Ozarks and the Ozark Mountains. The Ozarks is a large, heavily forested plateau that stretches from southern Missouri to northern Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma. The Ozark Mountains are a smaller range of mountains located in the southwestern corner of Missouri. Both ranges are known for their rugged terrain, rolling hills, and numerous caves and springs.
