A missile launcher is a device used to fire missiles, typically in military applications. The term can refer to three different types of launchers: a SLING, a BAZOOKA, and a BOW. A SLING is a simple device consisting of two pieces of cord or rope attached to a small pocket or pouch in which a projectile is placed. A BAZOOKA is a shoulder-fired, tube-shaped rocket launcher that fires explosive shells. Finally, a BOW is a weapon consisting of a curved piece of wood or other material strung with a string, used to shoot arrows. All three of these devices are used to launch missiles, either for military or recreational purposes.
