Yao Ming is a retired Chinese professional basketball player who played for the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is widely regarded as one of the greatest players in NBA history and is often referred to as the 'Ming of the NBA'. He was an eight-time All-Star and was named to the All-NBA Team five times. He was also the first overall pick in the 2002 NBA Draft.
