A military physician, also known as a MEDIC, is a medical professional who provides medical care to members of the armed forces. They are responsible for providing medical services to soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines in both peacetime and wartime. They must be knowledgeable in a wide range of medical topics, including emergency medicine, trauma, infectious diseases, and preventive medicine. They must also be able to diagnose and treat injuries and illnesses, as well as provide medical advice and support to their patients.
