Military no-show is a term used to describe members of the military who fail to appear for duty without permission. The two most common forms of military no-show are AWOL (Absent Without Leave) and DESERTER (Desertion). AWOL is when a member of the military leaves their post without permission, while DESERTER is when a member of the military abandons their post and does not return. Both are punishable offenses in the military.
