Military headwear is a type of clothing worn by members of the military. It includes berets, which are round, flat-topped hats with a soft brim, usually made of wool or cotton and often adorned with a badge or insignia. Kepis are similar to berets, but have a stiffer brim and a more squared-off shape. Shakos are tall, cylindrical hats with a stiff brim and a plume or other decoration on top. All three types of headwear are commonly worn by members of the military as part of their uniform.
