Military groups are organized collections of personnel that serve a specific purpose. Units are the smallest military groups, typically consisting of a few dozen people. ARMIES are larger and more organized than units, usually consisting of thousands of personnel. Cadres are even larger than ARMIES, and are typically composed of tens of thousands of personnel. All three of these military groups are essential for the successful execution of military operations.
