Midwestern Indians are a group of Native American tribes that inhabit the Midwest region of the United States. The four tribes included in this group are the Iowas, Osages, Otoes, and Omahas. The Iowas are a Native American tribe that originally inhabited parts of Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois. The Osages are a Native American tribe that originally inhabited parts of Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. The Otoes are a Native American tribe that originally inhabited parts of Nebraska and Kansas. Lastly, the Omahas are a Native American tribe that originally inhabited parts of Nebraska and Iowa.
