The term Mideastern Language refers to the language of ARABIC, which is spoken by more than 300 million people in the Middle East and North Africa. It is a Semitic language, related to Hebrew and Aramaic, and is written in the ARABIC alphabet. ARABIC is an official language in many countries, including Egypt, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. It is also one of the six official languages of the United Nations.
