The Mideast Desert is a large desert region located in the Middle East, encompassing parts of Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and other countries. Two of the most prominent deserts in this region are the Negev and the SINAI. The Negev is a desert in southern Israel, covering over half of the country's land area. It is known for its rocky terrain and sparse vegetation. The SINAI is a peninsula located between the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea, and is part of both Egypt and Israel. It is a mostly barren desert, with some mountainous areas.
