The Mideast Area is a region in the Middle East that includes the Arabian Peninsula, the Negeb Desert, and the LEVANT. ARABIA is a large peninsula located in Western Asia and North-Eastern Africa, bordered by the Red Sea, Persian Gulf, and the Indian Ocean. The Negeb is a desert located in the Southern part of Israel and the Sinai Peninsula. The LEVANT is an area in the Eastern Mediterranean, including parts of modern-day Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and Palestine.
